HID question

Hey guys I'm new to this form. I have a 2004 f-250. I have always used DDM hid kits in all my cars/trucks. For some reason I am having problems with my truck. It is a 55w high/low 5000k. I installed everything and when I turn my lights on the high beam indicator is lit up but dim and the fogs wont work, and the high/low beam will not switch. if i unplug the the small connector off the main harness that is for the high low switch the high beam indicator on the dash goes away and the fog will work. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

I had same problem you speak of I think, when you turn off the high beam they dont turn off properly, I did the fog light bypass mod witch keeps the fog lights on when the highs are on and all is good now.
