fuel filter cap w/ sender port?

this is in regards to DieselManor's product,DieselManor - Accessories

I'd like to know if this is the best spot to have the fuel pressure read from? I have an edge cts and was gonna add the fuel pressure probe to it (got a nice deal on a tap set at canadian tire ) but have not really read into where I should tap for the port. any advice from the wonderful techs on the org? thanks!

Use the test port on the engine mounted fuel filter can. No need to tap anything, just adapt it to 1/8 NPT.

Ah excellent thank you. Why would they offer this aftermarket cap if there is an obviously more viable solution?
While on topic of probes, would the EGT probe (say the one offered from edge) be 1/8 npt as well?

Most are 1/8" NPT, but check the install instructions on Edges web site.
