Exclamation 103 outside & coolant

Just got in from a 115 mile trip A / C all the way get home pop the hood to cool the truck just for the hell of it. I look at the coolant and it's 1" below the last mark , Med . truck never got hot or anything like that . When I shut the truck off the coolant came back up to normal . Just making sure this would be normal I'm sure it is but just tossing it out for reply. Oh just had it flushed and cleaned out the system 800 miles ago so that's good.
Heading out tomorrow for long trip and it will be even warmer ...
Any info thanks guys

Yep sounds normal.. Do you have any way to monitor true coolant and oil temp? Those temps are critical on the 6.0L! The ScanGuage is a cost effective option for data monitoring.
