synthetic oil

I tried the search, but that never seems to work well for me.

Anyways is there anything special you have to do when you change to synthetic oil??

Some do less interval the first oil change. Meaning they shorten the life the first Synthetic oil change. Me, I just did the swap. Can only baby the truck so much without breaking the bank

Just change the oil as you normally do.

What are you planning to use? Brand? Weight?

I just started switching everything I own over to synthetic. I have seen several demos over the years, but nothing ever made me say, "Oh wow! I should do that...".

Use good filters and never let it get dirty, change that dino oil often...but after seeing a demo on the Schaeffer's products and putting them to use, I am impressed and sold...Good stuff and a good value. I also have not found anybody with anything bad to say about Schaeffer's lubricants.
