Boost tubes...were to buy?
hey all,
Ive done some searches and only see people are buying the ford tubes or the diesel lite..I know the search dont work that great so Im thinking there must be others out there. Is there any other options? Also It seems I still have the plastic cold side tube on my 05 with a engine build date of 05. Im thinking I may just replace that also. Thanks,Shark |

The ones from Dieselsite are great. Prices aren't bad either...

The issue with the ford and alot of the aftermarket boots are, they are made out of silicone. Silicone an oil don't like each other, the oil slowly deteriates the silicon boots causing them to fail from oil that gets into the IC system from the CCV.
Diesel Sites boots are oil friendly and will last alot longer than the others, they may be more expensive, but worth there weight in gold when your stuck on the side of the road with a blown silicone boot. |

I LOVE my DieselSite boots. They are a bit pricey compared to other boots, but I've been on the side of the road fixing problems with my factory boots. Either fixing broken clamps or blown boots.
As far as the cold side tube, you only have the option of the CFM+ kit or the Banks kit. |

Ok,thanks..
I guess I will go for the Dieselsite tubes..I was hoping there was something abit cheaper that works good. I just got the new blue spring for my fuel so now I guess I will start saving for some new boost tubes from Dieselsite. I really only need the 2 hot side tubes right? As far as the cold side I think I will change to the new ford part with the steel tube since I still have the plastic cold side pipe...I guess that will be changed soon also... |

That's correct. Once you compare the DieselSite boots and clamps to the stock items, you will easily see how much better they are.
