Worth it ?
Is it worth it to clean my turbo ? Im reading about alot of people having turbo issues pulling them apart and cleaning the the vanes, unison ring and contact points, then saying the truck runs way better !

Are you having problems now if not run cetane boost in the fuel and once a week drive it like you stole it to keep the egr valve and turbo clean and working
just remember 28lbs boost max on a stock motor.![]() 2 stroker |

I wasn't having turbo issues when I pulled mine(had to clean the intake) and cleaned it, but still noticed a difference when it went back in. Spool faster, and just in general sounded much better.

I started to run Diesel Kleen with cetane boost, and unless its a placebo affect i can honestly say the truck seems to run much better. I'd also recommend a cetane booster, i like the diesel kleen in the silver container

I am having issues now... Pretty sure its beyond a cetane boost fix... But once I'm done cleaning it I will run it consistantly.
I've seen 30 - 31 psi out of mine and its pretty much stock ! I mean I had EGR delete and Studs with my gasket job. |

Also dont be afraid to do a CCV mod. I cleaned mine at time of studding and always run XPD Opti Lube. However, I am seeing oil in the boots. CCV needed and it just came in today!
