FX4=Rancho=Lifetime warranty?
I was thinking about this last night. Has anybody tried getting new shocks from rancho when wanting to change them? I beleive they have a lifetime warranty on them.....I bought my truck new and still have the bill of sale yet. I dunno, just makes me think about it.

Good question! Maybe send Rancho a note??

I hope y'all know that the shocks on the fx4's are motorcrafts(ford) with a rancho decal on them. I highly doubt they would warranty something they don't produce.

If that's the case then they must have some kind of agreement with Ford.

Yup......the Rancho parts catalog doesn't even list the stock FX4 shocks, both companies/shocks, whatever you want to call it, are owned/made by Tenneco so thats how they get away with it

I am guessing here but I bet the warranty (if any) is for defects and not a warranty for worn out parts.

Yep, stock Ford shock with a fancy sticker. Just Iike they do with the Eddie Bauer trim, Ford leases the trademark name in order to make the vehicle sound more appeasing.
