Water in fuel question

Hey guys, I have a 06 with 50K on it, I changed fuel filters 2 times since owning it new. I never had a water in fuel light (knock, knock) even through wisconsin winters. I fill up at the big truck stops for the most part. How many of you guys get this light alot?

My light comes on and I don't even have the HFCM on my truck anymore. There is a bug in the system that sets this light by error.
