Street/tow tune question.

Just Want some insight on the list I have planned for the truck this coming months.
- mkm coolant filter
- cs insight
- mkm egr delete
- clean/refurbish turbo or buy replacement
- some kind of tune that won't blow my hgs ( I have arp studs)

Insight will be much appreciated

well i would call river city diesel and get the sct x3 they well give you three custom tunes for YOUR truck plus you can change it back to stock. $450

Definitely gauges should be the first priority. That way you know where your motor sits. Then if you discover any problems obviously tend to them first. Then you could go ahead with the egr delete, coolant filter, and exhaust of some kind to keep your egts down. Cleaning the turbo is never a bad idea and you have to take it off to do your delete anyways. Then get yourself an SCT with custom tunes from Matt @ gearhead, Vivian @ Quicktricks, or Eric @ Innovative diesel. If your motor is healthy you should have no problem running any tunes. I should have been more clear sorry I want to make sure the truck would be good to tow for trips to the lake and just want a little more power to tow the boat and trailer. Really don't like the idea of blowing her up again.
