03 6.0 Cats removal

I just bought a 03 6.0 F-350 a couple weeks ago. Haven't done anything but tinted it. I'm thinking about taking the cats off and leaving stock muffler. I heard that will make the turbo whistle better. Any suggestions or comments?

Yeah. With the muffler still on you won't notice a difference really. Take the muff off and leave the cat and you get a little rumble and no whistle. Take cat and muff off and you got urself a jet fighter with a good rumble. Oh and you got the ridiculously loud turbo.

Ok guys I dropped the muffler and left the cat. Whistles better and rumbles little better. So if i drop the cat now its gonna scream? I heard it's a huge fine in SC if you get caught without the cat. Whats my chances of getting caught??? Insight please!

Turbo backs without mufflers or a cat are cheap. Make the move!
