what oil filter you guys running with the BPD oil cooler

just curious what you guys are running for a oil filter with the BPD front mount oil cooler. The kit came with one from car quest its a premium filter. I also plan on switching to a good synthetic like amsoil or Mobil 1 thanks cant find anything with the search

The oil filter is specific to the function of the kit as far as I understand. It has anti-drainback as well as the flow capacity for the Ford 6.0L. The 6.0L demands 18gpm at peak demand and that 85832 is rated at 16gpm before bypass. Ive tried looking for other replacements but havent found any. You can order the filters direclty from BulletProof.

I went to Napa and they cross referenced it to their Napa Gold oil filters. As mentioned, you can also get them from BulletProof.

The one that came with it is a Carquest brand filter. That filter is made by WIX, who also makes the NAPA filters. Nothing too special that you would have to order it through BPD.
