pulled the EGR valve

Since buying my truck I havn't had time to do any checking or wrenching on it. Today I pulled the EGR valve and cleaned it. It came out fairly easy, just twisted and pulled, popped right up. I didn't think it was all that dirty either, no real build up. So does that tell me anything?

Tells me that your truck is running like it should add cetane boost to the fuel and once a week drive it like you stole it to keep the egr valve and turbo clean and working,
