camper charging question

So the wife and I are going to be renting a camper in a couple of weeks and I am a little slow. I was wondering if the 7 pin connection on my 06 Powerstroke will also charget the batteries when plugged in or if I need to run wiring to accomplish this or what? Sorry for the newb question!

WHat he said. The 7-pin is setup for charging so as long as the camper is made that way you're fine. I have an '09 Rockwood and it charges the battery when the truck is on.

If the truck is factory wired for trailer tow and has the appropriate relays and fuses installed in the distribution box you're good to go!

My 2004 charges my camper perfectly with the factory plug in the rear.
