Engine Oil

I have a 2006 F350 Crew Cab. This is my second post on here. So just looking for a good oil that I do not have to pay a arm and a leg for. I would like to know what you guys are running?

i have been using Shell Rotella T 15w-40 in my new truck and my old truck. i purchase that at Sams Club for a discount. but i think i am going to switch over to the Ford brand oil at next oil change, a couple extra bucks but i think its worth it.

Ford Wake speaks the truth. Run a 5w40 full synthetic and change it at 5-6k intervals unless you have a Used Oil Analysis and they say it is ok to go further. The 6.0 is BRUTAL on oil. Use Motorcraft or Racor filters too. Racor makes the Motorcraft filters and they are cheaper. You can get good prices at dieselfiltersonline.com There are lots of oil choices but if you are looking to stay inexpensive check the Rotella T6 5w40. Not too bad on price and lots of guys have had great luck with it.

Indeed it is but you'd be better off with a 5w40.
