Ford updated the PCM programming to help prevent the vanes in the Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) from sticking. While at idle, the PCM tells the VGT to sweep the vanes open and close. It's a very distinct sound in the exhaust. You can YouTube it to get an idea.
