R&R Oil Cooler = Broke Intake Gasket

So I get home today early from work and start tearin my engine down to replace the oil cooler for the first time, 4 1/2 hours later I have the oil cooler put back together and started in the pickup, all is going good until I tried to put the intake gaskets on the same time I installed the intake...Broke a gasket in half, now lets just pray that the dealer in town has a set so I can get it back together so I can use the pickup Friday night to pull the camper GRRRRRRR

Did it break between seals or just the white plastic?

I've been in your same boat. Had to pull my intake off to do the EGR delete. Got intake back on and turbo is ready to go on then oil filter housing. Would like to have it done by tomorrow. Good luck finding your parts.

Thanks, it is a good thing that I am going to be doing a lot of driving tomorrow, I can check at least 4 dealerships with the hopes that one of them has at least one, I would even take a used one, (in good shape, of course)

Get the phone numbers from the dealerships you are going to check tomorrow. Call them in the morning and see if they can get it for you. A lot of times they can order them in the morning and have them that afternoon.

Actually the gasket has tabs to hook it to the intake for installation so you don't have to fight with it to get it lined up right. I have a spare set. If you were closer I'd give you one.
