Well I think I Finally blew it up

So I towed a car on my flatbed to boise today about 350 miles one way, towed the car up no problems get the car we went up to trade and get about 100 miles from home and she started running rough and letting out some white smoke, ****! Okay pull over check the coolant and its bone dry (other than some foamy lookin stuff) so I think I have a blown head gasket or a bad cooler (bulletproof cooler) trucks studded and I watched the temps like a hawk the whole time I was driving. I think I could possibly have an injector out too. But who knows all I know is I cant afford to fix it...

Do you have the bulletproof oil cooler or EGR cooler? How long has it been since your oil cooler was replaced?

What were your temps before the problem started? Do you have the BPD remote oil cooler? Were your heads machined when the studs were installed? What tune were you running?

i have the external oil cooler and the bullet proof egr cooler, the heads were brand new last time i went through this (just before christmas) its studded and all that crap thats supposed to make it not do this and wouldnt ya know it boomski. its definitly got a blown headgasket (water in the oil big time)
so now i get to spend 4000 grand all over again. grrr
the temps were reading as follows
eot 198
ect 193
trans 152.2
and i kept the egts under 1100 all day. i pulled one pretty good grade and about ten minutes later is when **** went bad. my egts were holding steady at cruising speed 75 mph i was at 850 ish
i was using spartan heavy tow with engine brake for the tune.
never had a problem with that tune ive logged probably 5-6000 miles towing with that tune. all i know is im proper ****ed.
im a car salesman and ill tell you what this is 2 months pay for me to fix this!
my boss sits around all day and dosent do phuckall while i sell cars, clean cars and volunteer my truck and trailer as well as my time i could be selling cars to do a 700 mile round trip for his damn dealer trade for a deal the dealership is only going to make 800 bucks on. hmm lets see here okay dealer makes 800 off of my 4000 dollar repair bill. im broke (because i own a diesel)
and ill be honest im sad about the truck and pissed as hell at the boss man. okay sorry about the rant i had to get it out. i guess all this *****ing and moaning is not going to fix my truck. laters

o and the coolant filter i changed last week is well uh no good anymore and all that elc coolant i just got in there uh yeah mostly gone, o and cant forget the oil change i got yesterday morning ya thats screwed too. little things i know but that **** adds up!

A couple people already asked this with no answer yet, do you have the BPD oil cooler, or something home-made?

Bpd oil cooler. Dont trust my self to home make that one lol oil is a little too important.

Just curious how you came to the conclusion that your BPD external oil cooler is bad if your coolant is bone dry. The cooling system is no longer tied to the oil system with the BPD setup. At any rate, it sounds like your head gaskets are toast, just like you suggested. Who did the studs the first time and did they check the block and heads?
