Service bulletin
Does anyone know if there was ever a service bulletin about the hpo system concerning the stc fitting? Mine was replaced with an updated stc fitting from ford... seems there should have been a bulletin on it to me...

Yes, there were 2 TSB's for the highly problematic STC fittings. You can find them in the link that Lilpooh posted above.
