FS2500 Bypass Oil system
anybody have this installed on thier truck? thing is built like a tank but seems to be a pain to stop leaking. I have a tiny leak around the element bowl and housing and the bolt is as tight as it can be.

I have one installed but I have a 7.3. No leaks. That big bolt that holds the bowl requires a specific torque. Overtightening may cause a leak. There is also an o-ring in there.

i would a agree, they can be a pain to get leak free. Make sure you dont have two orings stuck in there(done that) and the bolts is torq'd even then mine leaks a little but stops after 100 miles
