Cat & Muffler Delete ?????

Has anyone done a Cat & Muffler delete on 6.0? If so has it helped on EGT, power, fuel mileage, sound? Thinking about ordering and installing but like to here some other thoughts. Not wanting complete exhaust system just yet.

got rid of mine a long time ago. I never had gauges before i did it so i cant help you one the egt part. Mine at an idle sounds like a jet engine. At wot its loud and cackles very nicely. To me the less stuff you have back there the better the motor can exhale so it cant hurt
