Track bar ball joint removal, help!
I've posted this in the suspension section but I figured I'd get more answers if I posted it here too.
I took my old track bar off to install my icon bar and I can't get the ball joint out for anything. I pounded the crap out of it and even put a jack under it and jacked the truck up a little in hopes it would move but it hasn't budged the slightest bit. I tried using a pickle fork but i cant get it to budge enough to get the lip up to use the fork. What did you guys do to remove it?? |

you need a ball joint press to get it out. cut the threads off the old one so the adapter fits over them, and use the press!
