Ect 172-174, EOT 191 BAD?
Driving home today and noticed this, sometimes ECT would be 172 some times 174 sometimes 176 then the EOT would be 192-194, Should i be concerned?

You need to replace your thermostat. Your ECT shouldn't be less than 190 usually.

im going to flush it in a few weeks anyhow so might as well change that out as well; Stupid Question but where is the thermostat on these trucks at?
- Also thanks for your time man but i got another question, my truck was leaking a LITTLE bit of oil, not enough to even go on the ground but its basically on the oil pan and above, Is it normal to have i guess you can call it Blow By on the turbo? The reason i ask is because, i brought it to the dealer i bought it from and they said its normal? |

SO aside from the thermostat then it should all be good then right?

I'm pretty sure any oil 'leak' is not 'normal'. As far as the thermostat, that should get your temps back up to where they should be. I also assumed that when you checked your temps you were on the highway for about 10 miles or so as that's where you want to be when you check your temps.
