No Throttle Response
Have a 2004 F250 6.0 with EGR delete, new oil cooler, and everything else is stock.
I am having an interesting issue when pressing on the accelerator pedal. Yesterday I backed out of my garage and turned around so I could hook up to my camper. When I put the truck in reverse it would not move, only revved to a touch over 1K. I had the pedal all the way to the floor and this lasted for some seconds. After a bit of time I could finally start to see my boost gauge climb and the turbo was beginning to spool; and off she went. I have had this happen a few times in the past when pulling out of my driveway but that is it. It basically does it one time and then the rest of the day it is good to go. Odd thing is that it doesn't happen every time I drive it, totally random. Any ideas? |

Have you used a GOOD scan tool to check for DTC's?

Scanned and found no codes. Have scanned a few times and nothing ever comes back.

What kind of scan tool did you use? Not all scan tools are equal.

1. Exhaust boost sensor.....mine went out...it's recall item.
2. Fuel Filter clogged / out of fuel 3. water in fuel 4. EGR is stuck and choking the motor to 1K I vote #2 or #4 |

Pizza pig had a similar issue with the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS).

I have some fuel filters on order so I can change those. EGR delete was installed back in December, and had the problem prior to delete and no after the delete.

I used my ScanGauge II.
