Have a 2004 F250 6.0 with EGR delete, new oil cooler, and everything else is stock.

I am having an interesting issue when pressing on the accelerator pedal. Yesterday I backed out of my garage and turned around so I could hook up to my camper. When I put the truck in reverse it would not move, only revved to a touch over 1K. I had the pedal all the way to the floor and this lasted for some seconds. After a bit of time I could finally start to see my boost gauge climb and the turbo was beginning to spool; and off she went.

I have had this happen a few times in the past when pulling out of my driveway but that is it. It basically does it one time and then the rest of the day it is good to go. Odd thing is that it doesn't happen every time I drive it, totally random.

Any ideas?

Have you used a GOOD scan tool to check for DTC's?

What kind of scan tool did you use? Not all scan tools are equal.
