My new to me 06 PSD w/Pic!!!!
Just picked this up about a month ago. 06, F250 Diesel, 4X4 Lariat with 105,000 miles on it.
One owner vehicle according to Carfax and he must not have had kids as the inside is like brand new. Exterior paint and trim look as if it was parked inside when not on the road. He had a mount for a 5th wheel hitch, which I removed. He also had Line-X on the bed, which was beat up, so I had it re-top coated. Came out looking like new. Tires are in good shape, it has Procomp MX-6 shocks on it, aftermarket rims and wide, E rated tires, and what looks to be two new'ish batteries. To be safe, I changed all the fluids but the tranny fluid. I'll take it to the dealer for that due to the mess involved and so they can fully flush it. I also popped off and cleaned the EGR valve. Pretty dirty but not as bad as some of the pictures I've seen. My adds so far are the fender flares, a rolling bed cover, and a Mag Hi-Tech rear diff cover. Truck get's about 12 around town and 18+ on the freeway, which is twice the mileage I got in my previous truck. Truck won't ever see many miles as I usually drive my motorcycle. It'll only be used on the weekends or to tow the trailer. It tows like a dream, even up the nearby 6% grade from 1500 up to nearly 5000 feet. So far, I'm very happy with it and it replaced an 05 Nissan Titan. Great truck, but I had it configured for offroading and it was overloaded and couldn't tow the trailer, so it had to go. Any advice on what else to look for or preventative maintenance to do? Hope you like!!!! I certainly do!!!!!!!!! ![]()

M&M- Maintenance & Monitoring is the key to a healthy motor. Using only Motorcraft or Racor oil and fuel filters, some aftermarket filters can cause issues with your motor.
