Dead battery - cannot unlock truck

Hey,

So I had two week vacation, came home, and I cannot unlock the doors on my truck cause the batteries are dead.

Question is: How the hell do I open the doors?

Where are the keys, locked in the truck? Go to your local dealership with the VIN# and proof of ownership and they can cut you a key.

Some guys put the doors handles that are on the rear doors of a crew cab on the fron doors so people can't knock the key cylinder out and break into it.

Can't turn the locks on either front door? There shouldn't be anything keeping it from turning. I'm not trying to be a smarta**, but you do have he correct key don't you? I've done that before.

I thought maybe you were trying to get into someone else's truck. Whether by mistake or on purpose.

What about using your hitch electrical connector, and make it so you can put power from the connector on the truck to a spare battery or jumper vehicle. It might give you enough juice to activate the locks.
