Diesel bath!!!! And a cool app

So I changed my oil over the weekend since it was due and realized today that I forgot to change my fuel filters. Once I got home from work, I threw on my grubby clothes and got them changed, including the strangely wonderful diesel bath!!! My wife absolutely LOVES when I come in the house smelling like diesel.... Alright, maybe that last part was a blatant lie. Although once I pulled the old ones out, I realized that I somehow got on the wrong schedule and changed them on my even number oil change... (I change them at 10k intervals on the odd numbers so 15k, 25k, 35k).

This got me to thinking that there's gotta be an app for that and there is! I have an Android phone, so I downloaded a cool app to keep track of maintenance and fuel changes. It's called aCar and not only is it really cool, it's absolutely free! Check it out.

PS. If you've never experienced the diesel bath, you really should try it!

Well I don't have one of them fancy smart phones, so an app does me no good, unless they make one for my brain. I will have to agree though diesel baths are always fun, the ladies love the fragrance.

the diesel baptism i got was when i had to change the tank selector valve on our obs. fuel wouldnt stop flowing

Yeah, glad mine was just a few ounces, although it makes a HUGE mess on the concrete when you put the bucket in the wrong spot!

Yeah, she has threatened to buy a washer and dryer EXCLUSIVELY for my clothes from working on the truck. That wouldn't be so bad, but I would have to plumb it AND it would end up in MY garage, so that is a showstopper!
