Cold air intake

Hi everyone,
I was interested in getting a cold air intake, either stage one or two to install on my 06' 6.0 liter, and I was planning on doing a cat delete pipe as well.
Does anyone have any reccomendations on the intake?
Can I expect to tell any performance or M.P.G. increase with this combination? Or will I just hear a lot of extra noise?
My truck is stock except for an Edge cs evolution monitor/ programmer.
Any reccomendations are appreciated, Thanks!

i have 4" straight turbo back, and afe stg 2 intake. love it all. you'll hear more whistle on the compressor side, and the exhaust side. easier to clean filter, lot more noise grunt and whistle out the tail pipe. lower egts, few more mpg as well

Most people will tell you that the stock intake is best for 500hp and below. Better filtration and can save some money

But if you still want to upgrade your intake afe stage 2, or S&B intake. I prefer the afe.

I have the stocker, flows good per dyno tests in the past vs others (think diesel power did a compairison)? Sounds better with aftermarket.
