Puking Coolant
You can see my mods in my sig. I just couldn't imagine I blew my HG's again. About 5 months ago I pulled the heads, took them to a shop and got them decked. Rebuilt my oil cooler, flushed the system and put in ELC coolant. So I would also be shocked if I had a clogged oil cooler. What are all the possible reasons coolant could be coming out of my degas bottle? Just put a new cap on it the other day and my actual bottle is only about a year old. If there is too much coolant in the system, will the pressure push it out of the top?

Well a couple of times recently. The other day another 6L pulled up beside me and wanted race so of course I couldn't resist. Got on the highway did a couple of WOT runs. After we pulled over at a gas station I noticed I had some coolant spilling on the ground. Popped the hood and let it cool down for about a minute and then noticed that my degas bottle cap was not on all the way (I think that was a bone head move by me). Anyways, I tightened it down and went to Ford the next day and bought a new cap and also put some more coolant in. When I filled it up cold it was slightly above the min line. The second time was a couple of hours ago. I got on an open road and dogged it a little just to make sure it wasnt puking anymore. Looked under the hood and there was some coolant around the ring of the cap and some on the battery. The coolant level looked fine though I didn't lose much.

Do you have the sticker on the degass bottle with the revised min/max points marked out? If not and you are filling to the min line cast into the degass bottle you are over filling it. Keep it 1/4"-3/8" below the cast in min mark.
