Thermostat with ELC
Is anyone running a hotter thermostat after flushing and replacing with ELC? I was planning on replacing the thermostat, so I got to thinking about finding one around 200. How efficient is the ELC compared to the Gold at a higher temp in the oil cooler? I guess my main question is there any info about benefits of running a 6.0 hotter?

My Programer on Level 3 runs that fan control at 5 degF higher thaen normal.
So it must have benifit because I get better mileage on level 3. |

I think they only come as a190*F. If you can run it hotter, it runs more efficiently and will realize a little extra fuel economy, not much but a little. |

New thermostats for the Ford 6.0 start to open at 1928 and fully open at 219*. I am not aware of any other thermostats for the 6.0.
NYC your truck should run good at that temp. |

I couldnt find any thermostats besides the stock, so thats why I brought it up here. Second part of the question is for those who have already switched to the ELC. Have you noticed a difference in your delta? IS the ELC more or less efficent in the heat exchange?
