new truck

I am in the process of making a deal on an '03 6.0 CCLB DRW Lariat FX4 with 91000 on the clock. I was on an extended test drive and the egr cooler goes out.. It is a very clean truck and pretty much evey thing I want, the dealer is going to pay for the repair at my mechanic who is doing the job (delete new oil cooler flush and change coolant and change oil filters, and re-flash the computer). Is there anything else I should worry about in the near future? Thanks.

Find out how much your mechanic will charge to go deep enough to add ARP's to it. He will be very close to them at that time.

Ok I got it. Truck is fixed and runs like a champ! Now time to figure out add ons, SCT, 4 or 5 inch, and a cold air kit for starters.

Save your money and your turbo, don't get a CAI. Your not gaining any real power with a CAI. The stock air filter can support up to 500hp. Most CAI don't filter out enough dirt, and them dirt particles that get past the filter can/will destroy the compressor blades.

6.4L banjo bolts, FPR upgraded spring kit, guages to monitor Eot & ECT, Boost, EGT and Fuel Pressure, since you tow a good trans temp guage also....upgraded drain plug on the fuel pump on the frame near drivers side door, especially if its a 4wd truck. can get part #'s if needed.
