speed sensor wire location

Where can i find the speed sensor wire? I need to tap into it to get a more accurate reading for the GPS on my indash CD/DVD/NAV system. I was told it's a grey wire with a black stripe behind the instrament cluster, but i really don't wanna tear the instrament cluster apart and dig around to find it. Would there be another place to tap into it?
