i was told

I was told that there is no 4 inch downpipe that doesn't hit the firewall on my 04 F250 ! Is this true, and if not can someone post a link to where I can get one.

Second is there a certain coolant that is better for our engines ?

All 4" downpipes will clear the firewall on the 6.0's. Coolant needs to be a CAT ELC coolant with an EC-1 rating. Also need a gallon of Restore and a gallon of Restore Plus to do a proper flush. You can't just drain the gold coolant out and refill with ELC.

I guess we can assume that your 03 was a 6.0 and not a 7.3?

some 03-04's do need to be clearanced for the 4" downpipe. 05-07's supposibly have a little bit more clearance. I just put a 4" on mine that connects right to the factory exhaust....it didnt fit bad, couldve got it fit better if i had an extra set of hands, and tried harder but i just recieved my MBRP turbo back straight piped exhaust with 3.5" DP so it might be coming off....
