anyone bought this 05 conversion kit

heys guys been having ideas run threw my mind about going to the full 05 front end conversion and i ran across this on ebay. I just wanted to see what

It looks like just a regular bumper

I looked at them when I was going to do my conversion. I already had the bumper, just needed the top piece, healights, grille, headerpanel......

I was going to use them but I got rid of the truck soo

Anyway the stuff looks good.

ya it is. But it comes with the upper pad and lower valance. I think the only thing else i would need is a grille and fog lights

I bought that bumper (actually the entire front end from these guys). I am very disappointed. The bumper is really rusting bad, on the back side. The fit was OK.

I've only had it 4 months.

I am taking it off this weekend to POR 15 the inside of it.

From what I have been told their is 3 types of parts you can get. 1) OEM 2) Aftermarket 3) Ebay. OEM is obviously the best, followed by aftermarket, leaving Ebay as usually the worst parts you can get. Sorry if you got your parts off e-bay. I thing thats where my harley grille came from and it definatly has small differances you can see as far as fit and finish

I got what I paid for, the stamping has some issues. The steel is slightly torn were they stamped for one of the bumper brackets.

For the price it is not terrible, but I would buy a used Ford bumper if I had to do it over.

It should be OK once I POR 15 the inside of it.
