high idle?

i just looked under the dash and found one bundle of wires coming out from behind the e brake. i cant find the wires for the upfitters. ive searched and found nothing that helps. does anyone have pics of this? or a link to a good write up? thanks

on the back of the fuse block they are blunt cut and taped down very close to one of the conectors. You will want to connect an upfitte switch wire to the plain orange PTO wire. I did this mod over the weekend, it takes about 20 min.

i just looked again and i didnt see any cut wires on the back of the panel. anduone have a picture? do you have to pull the tape/loom back? thanks again

as far as the High Idle Mod, here is a great resource and two ways to do it. I personally did the BCP wire as it made more sense for my potential use.

sooo i got good news and i got bad news...

good news is, im not blind lol

bad news is, the moron that owned the truck before me cut the wires of the upfitters 6 inches off of the plug

this wouldnt be that bad if i could find the other half of the wires and just butt connect em back together

i guess its a good thing i bought the truck 28 days ago from a ford dealer, looks like its goin back tomorrow lol

on the 32nd day I found out that my key would not turn back to the ACC position. still have not dealt with that yet.

that sucks man, they couldnt of cut you a little break?

i guess this is a good time to get that shimmy at 55 taken care of too lol and the 4 second crank times when its 5-50* in the mornings
