Finishing Coolant swap and...
How big is our coolant system? I am running it now on the VC9 so all I have left after that is the distilled flushes and I am wondering how many gallons to buy to do about 5 flushes and a final fill of distilled.

About 4 gallons per flush.

so do the bubbles matter? I have clear water but there is still bubbles...is it ok or do I need to eliminate the bubbles?

Not sure, I flushed and flushed and flushed just to get to clear. I was always saying, "well, maybe one more." I went through 32 gallons of distilled.
That was 10,000 miles ago, put in the Ford gold, next week I'm going to change that stuff out. So, more flushing in my future! |

Here's my $.02... I had bubbles after flushing 4 times with hose and 4 times with distilled water (thought it was clear of bubbles after 4th hose flush). Well, then I started seeing soap bubbles from the restore surface to the degass bottle so I had some of that somewhere and so I proceeded to hose flush another 8 times before I finally said enough was enough and re-engaged with the distilled and winished off the process. Point is that I'm not convinced you're going to get everything out. That was 6,000 miles ago... no issues since.

Knock as much of it out with hose water as you can, then ice the cake with 3-4 distilled water flushes. My .02
