Need some help please
We are trying to buy a 6l,we have a scanner temps are ect 190 eot was 240 look like 50 delta to me. 3 trucks tested delta 50 + for all of them. Are we doing something wrong? If we did buy one of these trucks with 50 + delta would this mean the start of engine damage, should we buy it and flush & do the cooler or run. The last truck that we tested had 50 delta with a new oil cooler(3000miles ago),done by Ford. Could they have done this work with out flushing?
Thanks

Find a truck that you know has good readings and check your scanner, if you haven't already.
There have been oil coolers plug back up during and after a flush. Not often, but it has happened. Smart shopper with a scanner! |

With EOT that high I would be a little nervous about it. That almost sounds like the cooler is almost completely clogged. Even towing a 4000 lb boat a couple weeks ago my delta was 5*
