turbo surge after truck shuts off

ive been meaning to post this for a while. so after i shut the truck off i get turbo surge sound. (like when your accelerating and just let off the throttle)
is this normal? even when i let the turbo cool down it still does it.
well i gotta go take the act tomorrow so hopefully i have time to get a video.

Mine doesn't make a 'surge' noise. I can just hear it still spinning forever! even after I let it idle for a while.

It's just grumbling cause you make it sleep out in all that snow and let the 150 sleep in the garage!

Those 6.0's really do have a long spin down sound when they are turned off.
Makes me want to get the wife a '03 Ex to add studs and a straight pipe. Those 03's sound unbelievably wicked.

It's completely normal. Trucks with a stock intake aren't as loud, but with my AFE I can hear it.
