just wanna thank everyone here for help and tips, i got the truck finished a little bit ago, and after 7 cranks it fired up and came to a steady idle. gotta finish flushing the cooling system and add 2 quarts of oil, and give it a test run. but so far its all looking good.

i spoke too soon, while topping off the water, it died like you cut the key off, no codes in the computer, the fuel is below 1/4 tank, gonna get some fuel and see if thats the problem. crap.....
