Abbreviations

Why do so many people use so many abbreviations for stuff. It makes it really hard for us new guys to figure out what you are talking about.

I agree, maybe someone could make a page on what all the abbreviations are, I have figured out a few of them, but it sure would be nice to be able to have a referrence. I understand most of you guys are into the texting thing, but for us old fartslike me, it takes awhile to figure it all out.

1) Too many people every day asking the same questions over and over.

2) Read enough and you'll find that we do spell it out quite often.

3) They are legit abreviations used in the industry and in "garage talk", not just lol or omg electronic short hand.

Patience! Take it all one day at a time. The info you will find here will be far more useful and valuable if you take the time to properly research and absorb it all before putting it all to use.
