Question Rotella T5 Question

Sorry to I have read much on here about the Rotella T5 10W30 and how much good it does the 6.0. I was just wondering a couple of things:

1. Where is a link to the big write-up that was on here a while back about this particular oil in regards to the 6.0

2. I live in Alabama and soon it will get HOT as HELL here will that grade of oil be ok to run in the hot temps.

3. O'reilly has it on sale for 15.99 a gallon right now

I WAS running T5 10w30, until I switched to T6 5w40 this past weekend. The engine runs much smoother, and the injectors much quieter now.

I personally would recommend the T6 (Full Synthetic) over the T5.

Wally World had the T6 for $19 a gallon.

I just bought T6 from O'Reilleys while on sale for $11 gallon about 2-3 weeks ago. I couldn't find 15w-40 so I figured 5w-40 wouldn't hurt even though it's getting warmer.

My first change owning the truck I used T-5 with Rev-X, great results over 15W-40. I may try the T-6 next change, I use it in some of my motorcycles with great results.

You don't want to run 15w40 anyway. 5w40 is a better choice all around.

Good enough for me coming from one of the resident gurus. I just sent out a sample to Blackstone to get analyzed, but it was conventional from the recent egr cooler, oil cooler, ARP job at the dealer. Next sample will give me an idea of differences between coventional and the T6
