about to buy a 6.0 GOOD OR BAD IDEA?

I am looking at a 2003 6.0 f250. It has a 8in lift and 37in tires. I know the 6.0 had head gasket issues but it has an egr delete and arp headstuds installed. It has 125xx on the odometer. Will this be a reliable truck? What other issues are common? and how expensive are they?

is your truck pretty reliable? and what gas mileage can you get out of a 6.0 in town and highway with a intake tuner and exhaust?

ya all i want to do is a 5" straight pipe, intake and a tuner. What horsepower is the 6.0 with that setup?

Yea buy a 6.0! Your tuner with custom tunes from a good tuner will dictate your power. Exhaust will help your ears and really lower EGTs! Intake - It will do nothing for ya!

Get an SCT 3 for the actual tuner. As far as the human who builds the tunes. I think we have someone here who can be found in the vendors section. I used John Lund but he is not on this web site as a sponsor. Again, I would look at our sponsors!
