just installed ISS PRO EV gauges cant seem to find illumination wire. i did what the instruction say but i only got three wires and the top wire i have is top left black and not top center light blue with red trace or yellow. so tap into the black wire and no lights. so i test the lights by taping into ignition source and they work. so I'm stuck cant find the dimmer wire.
any ideas? |

I just popped the panel with the light switch an dimmer out and used my 12v probe light to find the output from the dimmer switch and tapped in there. Mine still don't dim in synch with the dash lights. They stay way brighter so I have been thinking of putting a rheostat in that line to dim them.
If you don't have a probe light you can always use a volt meter or DMM. |
