EGR Questions
I apologize in advance - I am trying to find info on the EGR delete that seems to have taken off. My questions are:
1) I understand the EGR brings exhaust gas back in to be reburnt at higher RPM. Why does this cause power to disappear when the EGR fouls up? 2) I am lucky and have an early model 2003 - If my EGR does not have a butterfly valve can I just disconnect the freakin thing....its ticking me off? 3) Will disconnecting the EGR cause soot build up in the cooler or prevent it? Again I apoogize if this is a repost, but it is late, Im tired and my EGR just went kerput......AGAIN! Thanks for the help! |

I think Elite-diesel.com sells sneaky pipes. The way I see an EGR is that its a valve that lets smoke back into the motor to make even more smoke.
