I have a feeling this is not good.
I was lookin under my hood tonight and I noticed this:
![]() Here you can see the max/min line and the coolant line(which is super far below). Is this suspoed ot be liek this when the truck is not running? I just had it in the dealership about a month ago so i asusme they would have caught this if it was outta wack. |

Yeah, your prolly ok. They say any where from the min line to an inch below. So I think you are fine.

next time though, see if you can get a little bigger picture. That way we can see it better...

Thats exactly where mine sits too. I like it a little low, and I'm not having to add anything at all.

I know there was a new fill line that ford will mark for you on the coolant bottle, cause the factory line was too high and the tank would puke some out cause it was overfilled from the factory. But i'm not sure what that line is. Any leaks that you can see or oil in the coolant?

Thats a big picture.

mine is in the same exact spot. It was around the minimum line but while marc was cleaning my turbo one of the hoses accidently got knocked off and drained some coolant. He said it wasn't a big deal and that that is where the coolant level should be anyways. (something along those lines) I trust the guy.

No leaks anywhere I was just trying to figure out how big of a pain in the *** changing my fuel filter was going to be, when i looked over at the coolant.

the secondary filter under the hood is easy enough. Its the one under the truck on the frame rail that will give you a bath... but its easy too. Just hope you like diesel fuel all over you.
No, seriously its a piece of cake, just messy.
