new guy with questions

Hey guys, hows it goin? I just got back from looking at a 03 f350 6.0 manual with only 79000 and there asking 17,999. I am very interested in this truck but I was wondering if there is any common problems I need to look for in this truck? Any information would be much appreciated. Have a good day.

Yes, there are things to look for. A few of the earlier 6.0's had some issues (03-04). The best thing you could do for yourself, if you really like the truck, is to get an OASIS report run on it (you can get them run for you on this site, as a premium member). The report will let you know what all recorded warranty work has been done on the truck. The report will educate you as to what, if any problems were encountered earlier on, and maybe what to expect if you buy it.
