is this a good oasis report

I am looking at a truck and I talked with the guy who owned it today and I also did an oasis but the stories dont add up. is it possible that the oasis is wrong. here is the oasis. He said for the first month that he had the truck the dealership had it more than he did. It wasnt starting right in the cold and when it did start it didnt run right. here is the oasis report. the repairs all seem minor, i dont see how the dealership had if for so long for these piddly things

I would say that truck sounds pretty dang good. Seems it was very well taken care of. All the recalls were done and all the problems the previous owner had were taken care of. Plus they were all Minor I give you the green light to purchase the truck.

That looks better than my report was! HAHA! As far as what the guy said about it being at the dealership more than at home wouldnt you say the same if you had to take it back a couple of times to iron out small problems and recalls on a new truck? That and the oasis doesnt say how long the truck sat there till it got worked on its possible they were very busy when he brought it in and it took them a while to get to it.

looks pretty good. Just a guess on my part but maybe the recalls were for a software update and that was part of the starting issues?

maybe the original owner was just over reacting? Dunno why you would say something like that to a potential buyer though... How many miles are on it? that's a clean oasis. it isn't wrong. go for it!

He isnt selling the truck the dealer is I just called him because he traded it in. I think the problem was the glo pluggs with the starting problem. he said that they fixed that and they also replaced an oil dip gasket or something like that. I am not to knowing when it comes to diesels. this will be my first one. the truck has 54000 miles on it. so there is still some warranty left on it. would the dealer give me my money back if the truck has to much problem or is it not worth it. They are asking 27,999 for it is this a good price for an XLT.

The remaining warranty will be on the engine 5/100 with a 100$ deductable. You would have to work out any return policy with the dealer but usualy I have never seen one. The OASIS looks darn clean to me, better than mine was. The price I think is a little much but depends on what add ons the person put on and what shape and tires. My local dealer had an 04 F-250 CC 4x4 XLT SRW 6.0l with 43K for 28,999 when I bought mine. I got one 45 miles away, a buy back with a pretty decent OASIS, buy backs can be for trivial stuff too, an 04 F-350 CC 4x4 Lariat loaded SRW 6.0l 33k miles with some add ons and had my new tires from my old truck put on for free for 26,999 and came with a 12/12000 b2b warranty and the remaining 5/100
