which diagnostic/scanner tool to get
I need a diagnostic scanner to read fuel/oil pressure. to tell you the true I'm not even sure what I all need one to do. but I know I don't want to pay 3 grand for one like the Snap-On MT-2500.I'm wondering if there one out there for around $200 to $250. that a shade tree mechanic could use

What he said^^^^^^
Mine should be here by Monday. No scanner is gonna read fuel and oil psi on a 6.0, there is no sensors for the PCM to read. The oil psi gauge we have is just a pressure switch, this means as long as the oil psi sensor is seeing 7psi, the factory gauge is gonna be in the good area. Your gonna need aftermarket fuel and oil psi gauges to see them readings. Here's where I ordered the AE from. http://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/p...-vehicles.aspx |
