Got the truck back from Phillip and the boys and it's running great!

The did a 03 to 06 conversion for me. The 06 was out of a salvage vehicle with 22,500 miles on it. As they got down into the problem the wiring harness needed to be changed, they changed all my fuel filters, gave my 100k transmission flush, new filters on it. They did an EGR delete, and ARP headstuds. .....and some how a SCT tuner found it's way into my console Downloaded the street tune first, drives really nice, runs really strong since the other motor had a few bad injectors and 214K miles on it. Just for ****s and grins tonight I downloaded the performance tune and holy **** people! How can this be safe???? I stopped dead stop and stomped it, dude I smoked the tires through 2 damn gears and this thing is a dually!! I'd be scared fo sho to have Eric put the coals to it!!!

I can't say enough about the was I was treated the last few weeks. If you live in Texas.... come here first.... They will do it right and won't kill your check book!!

Good to hear!! Tunes really make these trucks come alive!! Now get yourself a fuel press gauge, when fuel psi drops below 45 psi, idle to WOT, you take a chance of losing injectors.

Did you retain your '03 turbo or just drop in the complete '06?

Yea, wait til you get some custom tunes. IMO I didn't care for Erics street, loaded x street and that was night and day difference with much better shifting and drivability. Both that I had were for non-studs before I was studded and the X still moves! I'll be trying Viv's looney wild shortly just because there's good press about it and I would like to experience what others have come up with.

I kept the 06' turbo, I didn't wanna put a 215k turbo on a new motor. Plus, the 03 was just redonkulously loud. Sounded like a damn jet plane.

I'm gonna throw away my USB cable until I can get me some gauges, otherwise I don't trust myself.

You'll be really impressed with the hot tunes... I had no idea I could have that much power. Wish my 4 cylinder ranger could be pogrammed like that!!

Ironmover.. have you used "regular" looney?? I've been using it and also have the "wild" version, but haven't loaded it yet..

No, I've only ever had IDPs tunes. I no sooner got my truck back from studs and had to leave for Texas for work. I just talked with Vivian last week, so once I get home in June I'll purchase the wild.

How do you like the regular file?
