It looks like the head gaskets are starting to go on the Excursion. Gonna get ARP's put in, looking to see who you know/trust near Lloydminster, AB/SK. Willing to travel as far as Red Deer, Edmonton or would consider Saskatoon or Battleford.

So the prices are all over the place.

NADP and a shop around here $6100 for head gaskets and ARP's.

Ford Dealerships are quoting $3500 to $4000 but they don't send the heads to the machine shop.

That is what the service manager in Lloydminster said, "we don't send out the heads any more as per Ford's instructions. It just means you will get the job done cheaper and faster, I will have you out of here before next Friday (on a Wed call for pricing)".
He quoted me 25 hours, I then called my local dealer and they said 20hours and I get a better rate on parts as we have been customers for 30 years.
I'm still not gonna send it to Ford but I really have a hard time swallowing $6000. I should put it on a trailer and send it down to Montana!

Thanks for the heads up on Bo Diesel.
